Something extraordinary is unfolding
INFINITI continues to demonstrate its commitment to American craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence, with the 2026 INFINITI QX60 once again earning a place on the Cars.com American-Made Index. The QX60 joins five Nissan models on this year’s prestigious list, marking the second consecutive year that six Nissan and INFINITI vehicles have been recognized for their contribution to U.S. manufacturing.
The annual Cars.com American-Made Index evaluates vehicles based on factors including final assembly location, U.S. and Canadian parts content, and the number of American manufacturing jobs supported. Out of more than 400 model-year 2026 vehicles evaluated, only 86 earned a spot on the list—making the QX60’s recognition a significant achievement.
Built at Nissan’s Smyrna Vehicle Assembly Plant in Tennessee, the QX60 reflects decades of manufacturing expertise and a continued investment in American production. The Smyrna facility has been assembling INFINITI vehicles since 1989 and recently expanded production to include the all-new 2027 INFINITI QX65, further strengthening the brand’s U.S. manufacturing presence.
The recognition also highlights Nissan and INFINITI’s broader commitment to building vehicles where they’re sold. Today, the company’s manufacturing operations in Tennessee and Mississippi employ more than 11,000 skilled workers and represent nearly $15 billion in U.S. investment, supporting local communities while delivering exceptional quality to customers.
With its refined luxury, advanced technology, spacious three-row interior, and award-winning craftsmanship, the INFINITI QX60 continues to stand out as a premium SUV that’s proudly built in America.
