INFINITI climbs 15 places in J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study

INFINITI continues to elevate the standard of luxury and quality in the automotive industry, as evidenced by its impressive performance in the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality StudySM (IQS). This year, INFINITI has surged ahead by 15 ranking positions, securing the fourth spot in the premium market. Notably, the 2024 INFINITI QX80 luxury SUV has been recognized as the highest ranked for initial quality in the Large Premium SUV segment.

With a remarkable score of 187 problems per 100 vehicles (PP100), INFINITI has surpassed the premium brand industry average of 232 PP100 and shown significant improvement from its previous performance in the 2023 IQS.

The J.D. Power Initial Quality Study evaluates vehicle quality based on feedback from purchasers and lessees within the first 90 days of ownership. Participants report on 227 potential issues across 10 categories, including infotainment, driving assistance, powertrain, and more. This year, the study also incorporates data from dealership repair visits, providing a comprehensive view of initial vehicle quality.

The QX80 stands as INFINITI’s flagship model, offering a blend of serene comfort and formidable capability in the full-size luxury SUV segment.
