As the highly anticipated 2025 INFINITI QX80 prepares to hit U.S. retailers, our team in Japan is working tirelessly to bring this new model to life. Production of the all-new QX80 is already in full swing at our Kyushu plant, located in southwestern Japan. Since the launch of the second generation (formerly the QX56) in 2010, this facility has employed over 3,000 local workers and has undergone significant upgrades in anticipation of this latest model.

The plant’s recent overhaul included reskilling team members to ensure they’re equipped to handle the advanced features and sophisticated design of the new QX80, marking a new era for INFINITI.

General Foreman Akira Kiyota, who has been instrumental in the QX80’s development since the prototype phase, shared, “Seeing the all-new QX80 roll out of the plant fills me with immense pride, especially after working on this model for nearly 15 years.”

The well-awaited arrival of the all-new 2025 QX80 is almost here. The redesigned flagship model is set to redefine luxury in the SUV segment with its commanding presence and sophisticated design. Scheduled to arrive at INFINITI of South Atlanta by the end of July, the QX80 starts at an MSRP of $82,450.

The exterior features a front grille inspired by bamboo forests and taillights that reflect light like rippled water. When approaching the vehicle with the key fob, the flush door handles automatically extend. Upon unlocking, the INFINITI emblem and individual elements in the DRLs illuminate, culminating in the INFINITI Light Path – a stunning projection on the ground featuring the INFINITI wordmark and wing-like geometric shapes.

Luxurious and Functional Interior

The interior of the QX80 is inspired by Japanese culture and the principle of miyabi, referencing the use of layered, soft materials and the seamless integration of technology. A standard panoramic moonroof with one-touch open/close and a power-sliding sunshade allows natural light into the cabin. The dashboard features two 14.3-inch displays, with a configurable meter for the driver offering views such as Classic, Elegant, and Enhanced. The center INFINITI InTouch® display can be operated via an ergonomically positioned jog wheel or by touch.

The QX80 also offers an available color head-up display and Google built-in, providing updated Google Maps and access to apps via Google Play. A separate 9-inch touchscreen controls climate functions and seating operations, while sleek push buttons shift the transmission, freeing up space for cupholders and storage.
