Last month, INFINITI announced a refresh to their branding – enhancing customer connection and delivering a new hospitality experience across all touch points. This new look draws inspiration from the brand’s heritage and well-known belief that personal experiences are worth more than the vehicle. With this new refresh comes a new retail design, visual identity, and multisensory experience that brings next-level customer connection.

“The evolved look and feel uplifts INFINITI’s signature Total Ownership Experience and sets the scene for a bright new era,” said Asako Hoshino, executive vice president, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. “We believe true luxury is simple, personal and memorable. These updates are targeted at delivering a deeper connection with our valued customers.”

The new INFINITI retail architecture blends a clean, minimalist exterior with an open, light-filled interior. These retail spaces will allow valued customers the opportunity to connect and interact, bringing life to INFINITI’s signature Total Ownership Experience. The architecture pulls from Japanese design philosophies, providing a truly immersive experience by embodying the concept of “Ma,” which considers the space between things. This embraces empty space in an additive capacity, giving balance between every element.

New branding, including an updated logo, helps to place greater emphasis on the “infinite road” and horizon line. This new three-dimensional INFINITI emblem will adorn future production vehicles, with illumination that elevated the bright road to the horizon.

“Our aim was to subtly evolve the INFINITI logo in support of the bright new chapter that lays ahead,” said Alfonso Albaisa, senior vice president of global design. “Adding greater emphasis to the point where the infinite road intersects with the horizon, we are showcasing our steadfast commitment to always look forward to the future and to new horizons.”

In addition to visual elements, INFINITI has created a new multisensory experience that includes scent and sonic elements. With scent having the ability to transport the mind to a memory or a place, guests will now experience a new signature scent that delivers a subtle feeling of inspiration. This new scent is invigorating, calming and evokes a forest with hints of hinoki wood (Japanese cypress), sugi (Japanese cedar) and yuzu (Japanese citrus). The new brand master track “Moment of Tranquility” serves as the building block for a new sound (or sonic) logo, as well as for use at future consumer activations and other promotional materials. The signature sound acts as an aural connection, giving consumers another way to recognize, remember and interact with INFINITI.

Visitors to INFINITI’s digital channels can see the brand’s evolved visual identity now, and guests to select retail locations within the U.S., Mexico and Middle East can experience the new retail design from this month onwards.

This month, INFINITI announced their new appointment of Jose Roman as the new Global Head of the brand. Beginning his role in July, Roman will serve as senior vice president (SVP) of Global Sales Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. A native of Ecuador, Roman is currently corporate vice president (CVP), president and managing director (MD), Nissan Mexicana (NMEX) & Nissan Importers Business Unit (NIBU). After joining Nissan in 2012, Roman brings more than 25 years of automotive industry experience while working in Mexican, Colombian, Brazilian, and Japanese markets.

In his most recent position, Roman was key in consolidating the brand’s sales leadership in Mexico, as well as leading a successful implementation of Nissan’s global transformation plan. Nissan reached its 15th consecutive year in the top market position in Mexico while under Roman’s tenure, with the complete renewal of its product portfolio and the introduction of Nissan’s innovative e-POWER technology to the region.

“Jose’s human-centric leadership style, paired with a wealth of experience gained across diverse markets, will be invaluable for INFINITI to move to the next bright chapter,” said Asako Hoshino, executive vice president (EVP) Nissan Motor Co., Ltd, based in Yokohama, Japan.

Roman is passionate when it comes to employee health and welfare, as well as talent growth within the company. Nissan Mexico was recently recognized as the number one automotive company in Environmental, Social and Governance, by MERCO; “Top Companies 2023” for the third year in a row and “Top Companies 2022” for Women; “Best Places to Work” by HRC Equidad MX.

2025 Infiniti QX80

This year, INFINITI dealers are once again recognized by the 2023 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index® (PSI®) Internet Lead Effectiveness (ILE) Study. The highly rated dealer responsiveness placed INFINITI two points ahead of their 2022 score, placing second overall in the industry.

All of us here at INFINITI of South Atlanta are proud to have the INFINITI brand recognized for our customer responsiveness and satisfaction – and thank you, for giving us the opportunity to be recognized.

“There is nothing more important to us than ensuring our INFINITI customers have access to a team that is dedicated to making sure all their needs are met through a positive and seamless experience,” says Craig Keeys, Group Vice President, INFINITI Americas. “The results demonstrated through the Pied Piper study reinforces our commitment to meeting our customer needs head on and in a timely manner.”

Pied Piper’s ILE process measured dealer responsiveness to customer website inquiries. The ILE study included more than 5,400 U.S. dealerships and gave a score out of 100 based on how well each retailer responded by email, phone, or text message over a 24-hour period.

Infiniti driving in a city

This month, INFINITI introduced the new SignatureFLEX program for new INFINITI vehicles. With this new program, new lessees will be able to add miles during their lease contract if they are approaching or have exceeded their mileage limit. This means you will have the ability to pick the mileage that matches your lifestyle, even when your lifestyle changes.

SignatureFLEX is built on the INFINITI tradition of delivering the best in client satisfaction, and follows on the back of INFINITI Premium Care. Premium Care is an integrated maintenance program that includes up to three years of inspections, oil changes and tire rotations; and an all-new MyINFINITI app that helps provide clients a comprehensive, connected way to manage their vehicle, including payments to INFINITI Financial Services.

The new SignatureFLEX plan is available on all new leases and all new INFINITI vehicles, including the ultra low 5,000-mile/36-month lease option. You will be able to conveniently purchase more miles through the IFS web portal or mobile app, and INFINITI vehicles with compatible connected car technology will provide automatic, personalized notifications to drivers about their current and projected lease mileage.

Q50 side view parked downtown

The visual phenomena of viewing iridescence can be found in animals, insects, and precious minerals throughout nature. The rarest, and most valuable, forms can be found in black opal – whose miraculous color-changing nature has been captured by INFINITI designers in a limited-edition package set to be found on the 2023 INFINITI Q50 Red Sport 400. The new Black Opal Edition package will be extremely rare, with a limited number available nationwide.

Black Opal Metallic paint shimmers and shifts between blue, green and purple hues depending on lighting and viewing angle. The Q50 becomes even more eye-catching as it drives through any light source, changing colors from one moment to the next. Automotive enthusiasts will recognize the color-shifting hue as one of the most iconic and legendary paint colors from Japanese supercar history: Midnight Purple. The Q50 Black Opal Edition also finds satin black exterior logos and badges, with a spoiler constructed of exposed carbon fiber at the rear.

The 2023 INFINITI Q50 RED SPORT 400 features a responsive, 3.0-liter VR-series twin-turbo V6 engine with an impressive 400 maximum horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque, plus uprated brakes with four-piston front and two-piston rear calipers and Dynamic Digital Suspension. For 2023, Q50 includes the added benefit of the INFINITI Premium Care integrated maintenance program.

The Black Opal Edition package costs $2,2001 and is available for RED SPORT 400 models with either rear-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive. The 2023 Q50 RED SPORT 400 starts at $56,500.

christmas tree with lights and decorations on it

It’s that time again! The holidays bring many things: from cooler weather to dedicated family time, there is always something to do or experience. The best part, in our opinion, is the holiday food and treats – especially the cookies. Plus, when you have all your little ones gathered together, cookie decorating can be one of the best activities to keep everyone occupied and having fun. To help, here are some great sugar cookie baking/decorating tips for the whole family!

Kitchen Tools

  • Baking Sheet
  • Kid-friendly knife
  • Mixing bowl
  • Stir spoon
  • Small bowl
  • 2 small piping bags or ziploc bags
  • Food coloring
  • Toothpick
  • Rolling pin (optional)
  • Cookie cutters (optional)

Ingredients

  • 1 package premade sugar cookie dough
  • 1 cup of powdered sugar
  • 2-3 teaspoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons light karo syrup
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • Sprinkles of choice
  • Flour (optional)

Baking
First, we have to get the cookies in the oven! Here, you can do TWO options:

  1. Start by rolling out the premade dough on a flat surface (flour on the surface and your hands/rolling pin will help if things are too sticky). You want the cookie dough to be rather thin, with an estimate of a ¼ inch thick. It may look a little too thin, but they’ll grow as they are in the oven!
From here, you can use any cookie cutters you want to create the perfect holiday shapes! Any scraps left over can be re-rolled into a new piece and used again, until you get the most out of your cookie dough. Place all your creations evenly on a baking sheet, and cook according to package instructions. NOTE: If you want to use this method, it may be best to buy a cookie dough roll that states it’s good for cookie shapes, as the ingredients will make it a little easier to roll and cut.
  2. Start by placing the cookie roll on a flat surface.
Using the kid-safe knife, the kids can cut the dough roll into slices, roughly ¼ inch thick (or however fluffy you want your cookies!)
Place the cookies evenly on the baking sheet and cook according to instructions.

The Icing
Now this is the best part, in our opinion.

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the powdered sugar, milk, almond extract, and karo syrup, then blend until smooth.
  2. You want the icing to be a little thicker, to keep it from running off the cookie. If it seems too thin, you can add 1 tbsp additional powdered sugar at a time until its right where you want it.
  3. Time to pick your colors! Once your icing is made, separate it into however many bowls of colors you’d like. For this, we used just red and green, but you can always make more icing and have as many colors as you’d like. Add you colors to the bowls until they’re the perfect shade. Don’t forget to keep white as a color! NOTE: If you use a liquid food coloring, be careful not to change your consistency!
  4. Place your colors into piping bags or dressing bottles, or a zip lock bag with just the corner cut off to allow you to decorate your cookies.
  5. A trick here: use a tall cup and place the piping bag or ziploc inside, with the top of the bag wrapping over the top of the cup. This will keep your bag open while you add the icing, keeping you from getting too messy!
  6. Twist your bags at the top, and prepare to decorate!

Decorating
After the cookies have completely cooled, it’s time to decorate! Whether you decide to create shaped cookies or round ones, each cookie will be completely unique with imagination. Below is a simple option for round cookies:

  1. First, spread an even layer of white icing over the top of the cookie. Let dry.
  2. Using any colors, or red and green, place small dots of both colors onto the white icing.
  3. Using the toothpick, gently drag the stick through the different color dots to create a swirled color pattern in holiday colors.
  4. Top with sprinkles of your choice – we used a white sparkle sprinkle to add some shine to the top!
  5. NOTE: If you want to use multiple colors on any of your cookies, make sure one color dries a bit before you add the next one, to keep the colors from running together and mixing on your cookie.

You’re ready to create delicious Christmas sugar cookies! Of course, you can always use chocolate crumbles, peppermint pieces, powdered sugar, nuts, or crushed cookies to the top of your cookies instead of sprinkles. Make them as unique as you. Be sure to tag us and let us know what you created!
